Dr.Trudy Seivwright is a native of Jamaica. She completed her medical school training at the University of the West Indies- Mona Campus.  After working in Jamaica for four years, she attended Morehouse School of Medicine where she completed her residency in 2008. During her time at Morehouse,she was the educational chief resident during the 2007 - 2008 academic year. She also received the Arnold Gold Foundation Excellence in Teaching award in 2005.
 
After graduation, she provided care to the underserved in New Mexico for seven years. During her time in New Mexico, she received her board certification. Working in an underserved area also increased her desire to care for the less fortunate. As a result, she joined Medical Ministry International and has taken part in a number of missionary trips to Peru and Ecuador. She improved her fluency in Spanish to develop a more personalized relationship with her Spanish-speaking patients. She is excited to be back in Georgia where she will be closer to her family and friends.
 
Her interests are in minimally invasive surgery and preventative health care. In her spare time, Dr. Seivwright enjoys traveling, reading and spending time with family.
